The Lavender Line: Coming Out in Queens Exhibit Opening at the Queens Museum

The Lavender Line: Coming Out in Queens at the Queens Museum, a multimedia exhibition of the Queens LGBTQ community from the 1990s to the present. The exhibition uses photographs, flyers, video footage, and audio recollections to illuminate the pride and protests of a community unknown to most New Yorkers.
Several members of our chapter, including Tom McLoughlin, Lewis Speaks-Tanner, Brendan Fay, and Jeff Stone and others were interviewed and will be included in the exhibit, along with lots of photos of our community's members participating in Queens Pride, St. Pat's for All, etc.

All are invited to attend the opening on June 9.

The exhibit will be open for a couple of months at the Queens Museum, later traveling to several CUNY campuses.
