Celebrate Queens Pride on Sunday June 4th at 12pm as we parade down 37th Avenue (from 89th Street to 75th Street) in Jackson Heights, followed by a multicultural festival. Since 1993, Queens Pride continues to promote the visibility and accomplishments of the LGBT community and to foster acceptance by the many cultures and religions represented in our borough. 2023 marks the 30th year of the parade!
Dignity/New York will be marching! Meet us by 11:30 am near 37th Ave and 89th St. This year the parade line up is more organized and step off quicker than in years past; it is the second year for the new organizers. Bring water and sunscreen. Please let Lewis know you are marching by emailing dignitynewyork @ gmail.com so that we can tell you the exact location.
Note: the 7 Main Street bound subway will NOT stop at 82nd St.; go to the 90th-Elmhurst St. station. You can switch at Jackson Heights - Roosevelt Ave./74th St. station of the E, F, R trains to the 7 subway line.
